Banterra Bank began as a single bank in Ridgway, Illinois in July of 1975. Today, Banterra is the largest, locally-owned bank in the region with about $2 billion in assets and with locations in five states. Banterra has the products and services that customers expect from a mega bank, but with the personal service that only comes from a strong regional community bank.
