Citizens National Bank was organized December 27, 1909 as a State Bank under the name Paintsville Bank & Trust Co. On February 14, 1910. Initial Capital was $50,000.00. Citizens Bank of Kentucky is the one of the largest independently owned and operated community banks in Kentucky, with 13 locations serving nine counties throughout east and north east Kentucky.
