Citizens State Bank was established in 1907 in Clayton, Wisconsin, when they were a partner to farmers by helping them purchase land and equipment, buy seed and livestock, and save their money. In 2005, there was a major expansion with a second location in La Crosse, WI (HQ) and, since then, they have been one of the fastest growing banks in the state of Wisconsin.
