It provides a range of banking services to financial service providers, financially regulated businesses and fintechs. As a member of all the UK payments schemes, ClearBank offers access to FPS (Faster Payments Service), BACS, CHAPS (same-day UK payments) and SWIFT interbank network. BACS (formerly known as the Bankers Automated Clearing Service) is an electronic system to make payments directly between bank accounts. CHAPS guarantees same day payments within the UK and can be used for very large payment amounts. There is no limit to the amount of money.
