First Bank was chartered as the Bank of Wadley on November 6, 1907. The main office remains at the original location in Wadley, Alabama. The facility, as well as the banking industry has seen many changes since 1907. However, some things remain unchanged, banks utmost goal – personal service. Now with additional locations in Roanoke, Rockford, Hollis Crossroads and Goodwater, the bank strives to offer its customers quality-banking products combined with a friendly, comfortable atmosphere.
