Fowler State Bank opened its doors for business December 14, 1931. On November 30, 1983, Benton Financial Corporation was formed to be the parent holding company of the Fowler State Bank. By this time, the bank had grown to $51 million in assets. Fowler State Bank is a local community bank and works as a full service institution, with local roots.
