In 1934, a group of civic-minded local investors decided to charter a bank that would support their community. Bank was called National Bank in Manistique then, servicing the numerous industries in the area, such as mining, logging and retail as bank still does today. Bank’s grown into an award-winning community bank with more than 300 team members across 29 branch locations.
