Mediobanca

Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A. is the leading investment bank in Italy, founded in 1946 by Enrico Cuccia. It offers M&A support, advisory and capital market services, lending products, private banking, asset management, retail banking, factoring, leasing and other services. The Bank has more than 200 branches, primarily in Italy. In 2008, it established CheBanca!, a retail bank with over €7.4 billion in mortgage loans. In another effort to grow its funding base, the company launched Compass Banca, the third largest consumer credit operator in Italy. Mediobanca has also expanded internationally and now has offices in London, New York, Madrid, Istanbul, Frankfurt and Paris. As of June 30, 2017, the company had total assets of EUR 70.5 billion.
