South Central Bank was approached by several financial institutions about a potential acquisition, and in an effort to increase value for the clients, employees and shareholders, bank evaluated each one and what the benefits would be for its customers. Bank was introduced to Verve, and quickly realized that they could bring the bank significant scale and resources to grow its operation, and could provide them with an expanded footprint, assets and employees that would add significant value to Verve.
