State Bank is a single-family locally owned organization, owned by Wayne and Ryan Johnson. In 1980, Wayne Johnson started Everly Bancorporation with the purchase of the Everly State Bank. Since then, State Bank has grown to $70 million in assets, with banking offices in Everly, Peterson, and Spencer, Iowa, and insurance offices in Everly and Peterson. Over the years, State Bank has built a solid tradition of personalized service and local decision-making.
